Weekly Rune Energy Forecast – Nov. 9, 2014 < Three runes were drawn. The primary rune was the ei-rune. The two secondary runes were the ing-rune and the n-rune. The ei-rune was a symbol of the yew tree. Out of this tree was made the finest hunting and war bows. Amid this protection from hunger and hostility, the yew tree has another side. The tree itself is toxic. It can poison those who put all their reliance on the tree. However, an extract from the tree is a cancer fighter. From bows and chemistry we can say that the yew is life and death. A paradox reminiscent of Odin's paradox. There is a three part saying among the ancients. If you do not hunt, you starve; if you do not fight, you die, and if you do not think, you live an empty life. This week may be a time to exercise your tools of protection.
