Rune magic is easy with focused intent?
Intent is the key. It is a key in all metaphysical work.
Here is an e-mail I received from one of my teachers. At the time I was new to runes.
J.’s e-mail followed by my original e-mail. Then some comments follow.

Wow! Good work even if you made it up. As some people who get paid the big bucks said It is all about intent. So your ritual was creative and conveyed the proper intent! Yea Bill.

Howdy,
Hope you are well.
Had a client insist that she needed a ritual. I have not done such in years. But I felt that in her case it would ease her mind and give her peace.
She wanted something but three people she thought needed to have their minds opened to see reality so this could happen.
I had her bring three little skull candles. I prepared the candles and alter and arranged them on my old alter that I had not used in years. The two main persons I put their skulls facing each other.
She helped me with a runes ritual I just made up. She did not know that.
In two days there was an incident that opened their eyes to the real problem. Wow
But wait. The two that I had faced each other had not seen each other in 20 plus years. A third party friend who heard they had gotten face to face put her hand over her mouth in shocked disbelief.
No details here. But what she wanted is now in her reach if she goes for it.
She was so excited that she called and told me about it after midnight.
There is even more to this but if taken all together very spooky that it worked out so fast and even more spooky how it worked. The incident was seemingly out of the blue and unexpected. There was such a confluence of improbable things.
She thinks I am some type of magician now. But I have no idea what I did. Oh well just smile and walk on.

In that old correspondence the essence of rune magic or manifestation, or any successful metaphysical practice, is remembered, intent. Runes are used to focus intent. And God or the universe acts on your intent.
