Archetypal Psychology To Know
We will start out with one way that archetypal psychology is used to come to know. This is an example of how archetypal psychology can help you come to know.
How does reading cards open blocks?
I had a lady sit for a reading.
She was interactive during the reading, always a plus.
We came to a card, the nine of coins.
On the card a woman holds the bird in the manner of falconry. In the particular deck which I was using has the bird is opened-mouth looking at the woman who is looking at the bird. There are some other birds flying around. So, I asked questions from that.
“What is happening now?”
“She is talking to the bird?” she responded.
“That is a good way to look at that. What are they saying?”
“I do not know.”
“Well make something up.” I asked again. “What are they saying?”
She looked at the cards. “There are other birds flying around. … The bird is asking to leave. It wants to be let go.”
I shifted and said, “Really … ” I looked her in the eyes, “What are you holding onto that you should let go?”
At that point the thing she was inordinately holding onto from her past fell out on the table.
When she got through telling me, I asked, “What should you do about that?”
“Let it go.” she said, looking at the card.
“What are you going to do?”
“Let it go.”
Those things that had been a problem for her lifted like a weight taken off her spirit. That which she could not see, she revealed to herself. She came to know by associating with the symbols in the card.
Yes, it was that simple. It was alternative knowing related to being inquisitive about the archetypal symbols that showed up.
Like Carl Jung
used the cards, once someone associates with archetypal symbols in the card, mental blocks get out of the way. He comes to know. Then the seekers knows the truth that he deep inside of himself always knew. He solves his own problems in knowing what he already knew.
I told her nothing. More powerfully she told herself.
It is that simple. That was not because I was so smart that I gave her some advice. I had told her nothing.
The reader does not have to be smart or a psychic
to give a good helpful read.
Considering inquisitively the archetypal symbols that appear in your experience will allow you to bypass the conscious blocks and access the subconscious knowing. It is just ask the questions that directs the person into the symbols. Then witness the result.
You can do this without a reader. Consider what comes up in your life as a symbol. Ask what is going on in the symbol. Consider how that applies to your situation. And in that connection you will know the results. Almost always your subconscious has figured it out. This is a way of knowing by using the archetypal symbols to get passed the mental blocks in your conscious mind. You will come to know.
The Bible says ask and you shall receive.
This psychological way of knowing make me somewhat persona non-grata among many supposed “psychic” readers. Many of them are involved in the ego of “I am a psychic”. Their ego will not let them think that there is an alternative knowing that makes them not essential or not that important. Whether someone can be psychic or not is not the issue here. We are talking about an alternative why of knowing.
[The same process can be done with dreams.]
